Dr. Charette is a 2005 graduate of the Dental Hygiene Program at the Indiana-Purdue University of Fort Wayne. After five years of hygiene practice, Dr. Charette joined the 2013 graduating class at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Upon completion of the DMD program, he earned a certificate in the specialty of Prosthodontics as well as a master’s degree in the art of Dental Science from the University of Louisville in 2016. Dr. Charette is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and is proud to represent the specialty as a practicing Board Certified member. Dr. Charette takes pride in advocating for a diverse population of patients and welcoming members of any and all communities to a safe and inclusive environment where they can receive superior individualized care.
Dr. Charette endorses and shares in the vision of Renew Institute that is to strengthen the sense of community amongst dental practitioners in the greater Louisville area by being a resource and support system for both clinical and laboratory personnel through continued education offerings and community events. Dr. Charette has a genuine interest in helping others provide quality care to their patients and encourages correspondence from those who seek a friendly prosthodontic resource.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Charette enjoys his part time role as an educator/researcher at the University of Louisville. He currently holds authorship on articles in both the Journal of Prosthodontic Dentistry, European Journal of Dental Education, and is currently establishing the ITI’s treatment guide protocol for an all digital workflow associated with the immediate loading of full arch implant restorations.
