Dr. Charette was born and raised in Gillette, Wyoming. He is a 2005 graduate of the Dental Hygiene Program at the Indiana-Purdue University of Fort Wayne. After five years of hygiene practice, Dr. Charette joined the 2013 graduating class at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
Upon completion of the DMD program, he earned a certificate in the specialty of Prosthodontics as well as a Master’s Degree in the art of Dental Science from the University of Louisville in 2016. Dr. Charette is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and is proud to represent the specialty as a practicing Board Certified member.
Dr. Charette takes pride in advocating for a diverse population of patients and welcoming members of any and all communities to a safe and inclusive environment where they can receive superior individualized care.
In addition to practice, Dr. Charette currently holds authorship on articles in the Journal of Prosthodontic Dentistry, European Journal of Dental Education, and Quintessence. He is currently establishing the International Team for Implantology’s treatment guide protocol for an all digital workflow associated with the immediate loading of full arch implant restorations.
Dr. Charette is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP), the American Board of Prosthodontics (ABP), Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the Kentucky Dental Association (KDA), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Louisville Dental Society (LDS).
His other passions in life include spending time with his wife and young daughter, playing his guitar, hiking, wake-boarding, kickboxing, Brazilian Ju-Jitsu and other forms of high intensity interval exercise training.
